Nitrogen generator device and how to maintain it daily

(Summary description)The nitrogen-making device uses an independent air source, namely an air compressor, as much as possible, and can also use its own air compressor station to provide compressed air, but it is necessary to ensure that the nitrogen-making system is supplied with sufficient air volume and relatively constant input pressure. If there are many points of use of the air source, the intake pressure of the system must be controlled to ensure normal and stable operation. Ensuring a stable intake pressure is a prerequisite for the normal operation of the nitrogen generation system.

The composition and configuration of the nitrogen generation system are as follows:

Air compressor

The nitrogen-making device uses an independent air source, namely an air compressor, as much as possible, and can also use its own air compressor station to provide compressed air, but it is necessary to ensure that the nitrogen-making system is supplied with sufficient air volume and relatively constant input pressure. If there are many points of use of the air source, the intake pressure of the system must be controlled to ensure normal and stable operation. Ensuring a stable intake pressure is a prerequisite for the normal operation of the nitrogen generation system.

Note: The compressor must be equipped with a hot air duct to direct the heat dissipation and hot air to the outside, so as to avoid the equipment operation failure caused by the excessive temperature of the machine room!

The installation method of the air duct is detailed in the compressor manual.

Note: The compressor must be maintained regularly, otherwise it will cause damage to the machine. For specific maintenance methods, please refer to the maintenance instructions and contact imgRuibang .

The main function is to act as a buffer for compressed air to stabilize and store. In addition, it can also collect and remove most of the oil-water condensate that enters the compressed air source.

Danger: When removing the relevant accessories of the storage tank, the pressure must be relieved before disassembly. (Such as safety valve, pressure gauge)

Note: It is necessary to regularly check whether the blowdown valve of the air tank can discharge normally, to avoid excessive sewage accumulation in the tank, which will affect the subsequent purification system!

    The installation of a cooler or refrigerated dryer at the front end of the nitrogen-making system to dry the compressed air entering the nitrogen-making system is critical to ensuring the normal service life of the nitrogen-making equipment.

The refrigerated compressed air dryer is based on the principle of freezing and dehumidification, and the compressed air exchanges heat with the refrigerant in the freezer. The moisture in the air is cooled and then condensed again, thereby condensing the large amount of water vapor and oil mist contained in it into liquid The drips are discharged by the automatic drain. After this treatment, the dryness of the compressed air can reach -23℃ (pressure dew point can reach 1.6℃), and the oil content does not exceed 3ppm.

Note: The refrigeration dryer must pay attention to whether the refrigeration fails, and regularly check whether the drainage system is normal.

Note: When the equipment fails and the alarm light is on, you must stop the machine to check the cause and eliminate the fault in time, otherwise it will have a serious adverse effect on the operation of the nitrogen production equipment.

 

The particulate filter ( C-stage)img

The compressed air entering the particle filter is the raw material gas provided by the air compressor. This filter can remove residual dust and solid particles in the air source, and can filter out solid particles above 3 microns.

Warning: Do not replace the filter element under pressure, remove the filter housing after depressurization, and separate the valve from the non-maintenance part.

Fine filter ( T grade)

 The fine filter is installed behind the freeze dryer, which can filter out liquid and solid particles as small as 1 micron, and the minimum residual oil content is only 0.5PPm.

     Consumables:

Warning: Do not replace the filter element under pressure, remove the filter housing after depressurization, and separate the valve from the non-maintenance part.

Ultra-precision filter ( Grade A)

The ultra-precision filter is installed behind the fine filter , which can filter out liquid and solid particles as small as 0.01 microns, and the minimum residual oil content is only 0.001PPm.

Degreaser

The activated carbon degreasing device can remove the residual oil in the air source, ensuring the service life of the carbon molecular sieve of the PSA nitrogen production unit, and avoiding the carbon molecular sieve oil poisoning in the event of an accidental failure of the air compression purification system.

    Consumables:    

Note: Whether the use time of degreasing activated carbon and the pressure difference between front and rear are normal. Degreasing activated carbon is a consumable, please refer to the maintenance instructions and contactimg Ruibang for the replacement time .

Note: After each replacement of activated carbon, check the filter screen for damage. If it is damaged, it must be replaced.

Warning: Do not replace the activated carbon under pressure. The pressure must be relieved and then disassembled for replacement, and the valve must be separated from the non-maintenance part.

 

Adsorber  (Ⅰ)(Ⅱ)

The adsorber is used to stack molecular sieves together to form a bed with high density and large surface area. The sieve plates are fixed at both ends of the bed to achieve a high stacking density and prevent the pulverization of molecular sieves, thereby ensuring the efficiency of pressure adsorption and decompression desorption of the nitrogen generator.

Buffer tank

The main function is to act as a buffer for the product nitrogen to stabilize and store it. In addition, it can also press the return gas to stabilize the top purity of the adsorber, so as to ensure the stability of the product nitrogen purity when the two towers are switched. The nitrogen tank is equipped with a pressure gauge and a condensate discharge port.

Particle filter ( C level)

This filter is used to remove all suspended particulate matter (rust, carbon dust, etc.) in the outlet oxygen, including a filter element and a drain valve. However, there should be no liquid discharge in the design. If it does, it will be a failure or malfunction of the pre-processing components.
