Why is nitrogen used in selective wave soldering?
The ultimate goal of all welding equipment or tools is to achieve better solder joints. Selective wave soldering is a high-end point-to-point welding method among all welding methods; in order to increase the quality and reliability of solder joints. All selective soldering equipment is equipped with a nitrogen protection part. Nitrogen is an inert gas, which can improve the wettability of the components and printed circuit board welding surface, reduce the degree of oxidation, and accelerate the welding reaction speed during welding. Air purification components for nitrogen generators and their importance

What is the principle of nitrogen packaging?
Primarily utilizing the characteristics of nitrogen, which does not readily react with oxygen or other substances: 1. Nitrogen is odorless and non-toxic, and will not damage food; 2. Nitrogen is chemically stable, does not support bacterial respiration, and will not cause food spoilage. Food spoilage is caused by contact with oxygen. Vacuum and nitrogen packaging both aim to isolate food from oxygen. Vacuum packaging isolates food from the air, preventing contact with oxygen; nitrogen packaging replaces air with nitrogen, bringing the food into contact with an inert gas that will not cause oxidation and spoilage. Nitrogen Generator Technology Principle
A Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generator uses carbon molecular sieve as an adsorbent. It works on the principle of pressure adsorption and depressurization desorption to adsorb oxygen from the air and separate nitrogen. The adsorption characteristics of carbon molecular sieve for O2 and N2 are such that with increasing adsorption pressure, the adsorption amounts of O2 and N2 both increase, but the increase in O2 adsorption is greater.
Cost analysis comparison between bottled nitrogen and nitrogen generator equipment
Based on the requirements of a nitrogen generation project with a flow rate of 30 Nm³/h and a purity of 99.999%, the following calculations are performed: 1. Operating cost of bottled nitrogen: Generally, the market price of 99.999% pure nitrogen is 50 yuan/bottle. A bottle of nitrogen at 12 MPa pressure has a standard volume of 40 liters, but in practice, each bottle only contains about 5 m³. Therefore, the price of ordinary nitrogen is about 10 yuan/m³. This method is only suitable for users with very small gas consumption.
