Nitrogen storage methods
Common liquid nitrogen storage devices are nitrogen tanks, which are divided into low-pressure and high-pressure types. Low-pressure tanks have a pressure of less than 100 psi, while high-pressure tanks have a pressure of more than 100 psi. Their volumes are generally 2000 and 2500 gallons. The structure is divided into two layers: an inner layer made of stainless steel and an outer layer made of forged steel. The inner layer is covered with insulation material, and a vacuum is drawn between the inner and outer layers to prevent heat exchange. The tank is equipped with a pressure regulator, a liquid level gauge, a safety valve, a pressure relief valve, etc.
