Nitrogen generator unit and how to maintain it daily
The configuration of the nitrogen generation system is as follows:
Air Compressor
The nitrogen generation unit should use an independent air source, namely an air compressor. It can also utilize an existing air compressor station to provide compressed air, but it must ensure sufficient air volume and relatively constant input pressure for the nitrogen generation system. If there are many usage points for the air source, the system's inlet pressure must be controlled to ensure normal and stable operation. Ensuring stable inlet pressure is a necessary condition for the normal operation of the nitrogen generation system.
Note: The compressor must be equipped with a hot air exhaust pipe to exhaust the heat dissipation hot air outdoors to prevent the machine room temperature from being too high, causing equipment operation failures!
See the compressor manual for details on the installation method of the exhaust pipe.
Note: The compressor must be regularly maintained; otherwise, it will damage the machine. Please refer to the maintenance instructions and contactRebang Company。
Air Buffer Tank
Its main function is to act as a buffer for compressed air, playing a stabilizing and storage role. In addition, it can also collect and remove most of the oil-water condensate entering the compressed air source.
Danger: When removing related accessories from the storage tank, depressurize before removing them. (Such as safety valves, pressure gauges)
Note: Regularly check whether the drain valve of the air tank can drain normally to avoid excessive sewage accumulating in the tank, affecting the downstream purification system!
Safety Accessories (Require Regular Inspection):
Refrigerated Dryer
Installing a cooler or refrigerated dryer at the front end of the nitrogen generation system dries the compressed air entering the system, which is crucial for ensuring the normal service life of the nitrogen generation equipment.
The refrigerated compressed air dryer is based on the principle of freeze-drying. Compressed air exchanges heat with the refrigerant in the freezer, and the moisture in the air is cooled and condensed again, condensing a large amount of water vapor and oil mist into droplets, which are discharged by the automatic drain. After this treatment, the dryness of the compressed air can reach atmospheric pressure dew point-23℃ (pressure dew point can reach 1.6℃), and the oil content does not exceed 3ppm.
Note: Pay attention to whether the refrigeration of the refrigerated dryer is invalid and regularly check whether the drainage system is normal.
Note: When equipment malfunctions and the alarm light is on, the equipment must be shut down to check the cause and troubleshoot it promptly; otherwise, it will seriously affect the operation of the nitrogen generation equipment.
Particle Filter (C-class)
The compressed air entering the particle filter is the raw gas provided by the air compressor. This filter can remove residual dust and solid particles from the gas source, filtering outsolid particles of 3 microns or more.
Consumables:
Note: The service life of the filter element and whether the drain valve is normal. The filter element is a consumable, please refer to the maintenance instructions and contact for replacement timeRebang Company。
Warning: Do not replace the filter element under pressure. Depressurize before removing the filter housing and isolate it from non-maintenance parts.
Precision Filter (T-class)
The precision filter is installed behind the refrigerated dryer, and it can filter out liquid and solid particles as small as 1 micron, with a minimum residual oil content of only 0.5PPm.
Ultra-precision Filter (A-class)
The ultra-precision filter is installed behind the precision filterand can filter out liquid and solid particles as small as 0.01 microns, with a minimum residual oil content of only 0.001PPm.
Consumables:
Note: The service life of the filter element and whether the drain valve is normal. The filter element is a consumable. Please refer to the maintenance instructions and contact for replacement timeRebang Company。
Warning: Do not replace the filter element under pressure. Depressurize before removing the filter housing and isolate it from non-maintenance parts.
Oil Remover
The activated carbon oil remover can remove residual oil from the gas source, ensuringthe service life of the PSA nitrogen generation unit's carbon molecular sieve and preventing carbon molecular sieve oil poisoning in case of failure of the compressed air purification system.
Consumables:
Note: The service life of the oil-removing activated carbon and whether the pressure difference before and after is normal. Oil-removing activated carbon is a consumable, please refer to the maintenance instructions and contact for replacement timeRebang Company。
Note: After each replacement of activated carbon, check whether the filter screen is damaged. If damaged, it must be replaced.
Warning: Do not replace the activated carbon under pressure. Depressurize before replacement and isolate it from non-maintenance parts.
Adsorber (Ⅰ)(Ⅱ)
The adsorber is used to stack the molecular sieves together to form a bed with high density and large surface area. The sieve plates are fixed at both ends of the bed to achieve high packing density and prevent the pulverization of the molecular sieve, thereby ensuring the efficiency of pressure adsorption and pressure swing adsorption of the nitrogen generation unit.
Buffer Tank
Its main function is to act as a buffer for the produced nitrogen, playing a stabilizing and storage role. In addition, it can also use backflow gas to pressurize the adsorber to stabilize the top purity of the adsorber, thereby ensuring the stability of the product nitrogen purity during the switching of the dual towers. The nitrogen tank is equipped with a pressure gauge and a condensate drain.
Safety attachments (require regular inspection):
Particle Filter (C-class)
This filter is used to remove all suspended particulate matter (rust, carbon dust, etc.) from the export oxygen, and includes a filter element and a discharge valve. However, the design should not allow for liquid discharge; if it does, it indicates failure or malfunction of the pre-treatment components.
Consumables:
Note: The service life of the filter element and the proper functioning of the drain valve.
Warning: Do not replace the filter element under pressure; depressurize before removing the filter housing.
Warning: The filter element is a consumable and must be replaced regularly. Refer to the maintenance instructions and contact for replacement times.Rebang Company
