Rice is a finished grain, and it loses its protective layer after processing, so its storage stability is poor.

2. The waist is easy to burst, that is, cracks appear on the rice grains. Modified atmosphere storage includes methods such as natural hypoxia, carbon dioxide filling, and nitrogen filling with nitrogen generators. Generally, plastic film or other air-tight materials are used to seal the grain piles to change the gas composition in the grain piles so that the grain piles are in a state of low oxygen, nitrogen-rich, and high carbon dioxide, so as to achieve the purpose of anti-mildew, insecticide and safe summer.

The natural hypoxia method of storing rice has low cost and does not require mechanical equipment, but it has an impact on the quality of rice, especially rice with higher moisture, which will reduce the viscosity and increase the fatty acid value. If the oxygen-deficient grain pile is filled with carbon dioxide, the effect of preservation and mildew prevention is very good. According to experiments, small-packaged rice filled with carbon dioxide can be stored safely for 2 years at a temperature of 0 to 35 ℃.

Compared with carbon dioxide storage grains, using a nitrogen generator to fill nitrogen storage grains can reduce costs and has a better storage effect. A more practical method is to use a molecular sieve nitrogen generator to carry out negative pressure and cyclic replacement method to fill a closed grain pile with nitrogen for 4 hours.
