Nitrogen generator malfunction
Generally, nitrogen generators may encounter the following problems:
1. Improper drainage of the air filter, freeze dryer, and air storage tank.
2. Failure of the freeze dryer to cool, without timely detection by personnel.
3. Lack of an activated carbon oil remover at the front of the nitrogen generator.
4. A large amount of black particles ejected from the nitrogen generator silencer.
5. Damage to some pneumatic valves.

Nitrogen generator malfunction
Generally, nitrogen generators may encounter the following issues:
1) Improper drainage of the air filter, freeze dryer, and air storage tank.
2) The freeze dryer is not refrigerating, and no one noticed it in time.
3) No activated carbon oil remover is equipped in front of the nitrogen generator.
4) A large amount of black particles are ejected from the nitrogen generator silencer.
5) Some pneumatic valves are damaged.
6) The air filter cartridge has not been replaced since the equipment was put into use.
Solutions:
1) Install a timed drain valve on the air storage tank drain port to reduce the load pressure of the post-treatment.
2) During normal use, check whether each timed drain valve is draining properly, whether the air pressure meets more than 0.6mpa, and compare the inlet and outlet of the freeze dryer to check the refrigeration effect. Check if the nitrogen purity is stable.
3) The air filter must be replaced every 4000 hours.
4) The activated carbon filter can effectively filter oil stains and prolong the service life of high-quality carbon molecular sieves. The activated carbon should be replaced every 3000 hours or 4 months.
5) It is recommended to prepare one of each type of pneumatic valve and solenoid valve for the nitrogen generator, which are the actuating components, to prevent future problems.
Nitrogen generator maintenance and construction on-site guidance steps are:
1) Preparation: Your company is responsible for on-site construction, a set of various tools, a welding machine, a cutting machine, several corresponding pipes, and a set of parts purchased by the company.
2) Construction steps: Simply clean the site, cut off the gas and electricity, two people remove the adsorption tower head, two people remove all the pipes of the nitrogen generator, remove the waste material in the adsorption tower, clean it thoroughly, and check whether the distribution plates at the top and bottom of the nitrogen equipment adsorption tower are damaged. Repair any damage in time. All pipes should be cleaned with compressed air, and the pneumatic valves should be checked for seal damage. Seriously damaged ones need to be replaced. The air processing part filter is renewed, and the activated carbon filter pipeline is modified with one person working simultaneously. After all work is completed, install all pipes and valves, turn on the gas and electricity, purge the entire system pipes once, and start the carbon molecular sieve loading operation. The specific operation is guided by the on-site instructor. After the loading is completed, start the nitrogen generator, check for gas leaks at each interface, and test the nitrogen purity and production capacity.
3) After all the projects are completed, the on-site instructor will introduce the daily use and precautions to the personnel in charge of your company. After the equipment maintenance and modification is completed, your company must strictly follow the precautions during operation; otherwise, the problems will reappear.
