Why do car tires need nitrogen?
Nitrogen drying uses an inert gas that is not easily affected by changes in temperature and pressure. Nitrogen has low permeability in tires, maintaining stable tire pressure for extended periods, reducing the chance of blowouts, and increasing vehicle safety. Ordinary compressed air contains moisture, oil, and other impurities, which accelerate tire aging and steel rim corrosion through oxidation. Using nitrogen inflation extends the life of tires and steel rims, reducing waste and protecting the environment. Nitrogen maintains stable tire pressure, reducing vehicle rolling resistance, lowering fuel consumption, reducing tire wear, and saving costs; it also reduces vibration and tire noise on uneven roads, making driving more enjoyable. Tires are filled with relatively high-purity nitrogen.
